You won’t find a modern car on our rolling road. We don’t want to work with chips and ECUs. We use our rolling road for everything from a tune-up on a classic car, right through to race-prepping an historic race car. The rolling road give us the data to get the best performance possible out of a car.
We assess metrics such as fuel consumption, power and driveability and use that information to tune and optimise the engine. Through our experience, we can make minor adjustments that can increase things like your reliability and fuel consumption.
We offer clients two-hour sessions on our rolling road, after which you will be given a report on your car’s performance and advice on how you can improve it. The rolling road pays fantastic dividends on a classic car. Schedule a session and see the results.
Seen in the image gallery are vehicles that people don't normally associate with being put on a rolling road such as the 1924 Sunbeam 14/40 that had its carb set up and the engine tuned for the best performance on the open road.
IK Classics are happy to run a power day for any clubs or groups of up to 10 cars. This can be run on a Saturday or Sunday and even on a night during the week but obviously with a reduced number of vehicles. If any one is interested please contact us for prices and arrangments.
